The Most Effortless 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

These cookies are incredibly easy to make, requiring only three ingredients and minimal effort. They’re naturally gluten-free and perfect for a quick treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky, your preference)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Mix well until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Shape the Cookies: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
  4. Flatten and Pattern (Optional): Use a fork to gently press down on each cookie, creating a crisscross pattern.
  5. Bake: Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The cookies will still be soft in the center, but they will firm up as they cool.
  6. Cool: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
