I Have Not Been Sick for 35 Years

Ingredients

  • 1 medium red onion (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 large piece of fresh ginger (about 2 inches, peeled and sliced)
  • 2 whole lemons (juiced)
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon of raw honey (optional, for taste)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the chopped onion, sliced ginger, and 2 cups of water.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Strain the mixture into a jar or glass container.
  5. Stir in the fresh lemon juice.
  6. Add honey if desired for sweetness and additional health benefits.
  7. Drink half a cup daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach.
