INGREDIENTS
- 1 fresh ginger root (about 2–3 inches)
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon baby oil (for external use only – not for drinking)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Peel and slice the ginger into thin pieces.
- Add water to a pot and bring it to a boil.
- Add the sliced ginger and cloves.
- Let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Turn off heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- Strain the liquid into a cup or bottle.
- Drink warm, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach.

- Add a little honey or lemon for taste if desired.
