Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- 2–3 tablespoons baby oil
Instructions
- Crush the cloves slightly to release their natural oils.
- Add them to baby oil in a small bowl.
- Warm the mixture gently (do not boil).
- Let it cool and strain the oil.
- Apply the oil to clean, dry toenails using a dropper or cotton swab.
- Leave it on overnight.
- Repeat daily for several weeks.
Tips
- Wash and dry your feet thoroughly before applying.
- Lightly file the nail surface once a week to help absorption.
- Avoid tight shoes; keep feet dry and clean.
- Use separate nail tools to prevent spreading infection.
- Be consistent—natural remedies take time.
Important Reality Check
- Cloves contain natural antifungal compounds (like eugenol), but this is not a guaranteed cure.
- Nail fungus (onychomycosis) often needs weeks or months to improve.
- Severe or persistent infections usually require pharmacy or doctor treatment.
