Ingredients
- 1 lb ground meat (beef, pork, chicken, or turkey)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 bunch bok choy, chopped (separate stems and leaves)
- 2 green onions, sliced (optional)
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger; stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the ground meat. Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and pepper.
- Add bok choy stems first and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add bok choy leaves and cook until wilted, about 1–2 minutes.
- Sprinkle with green onions if using. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve hot over steamed rice.
