Ingredients
- 2 lbs (about 4-5 medium) potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix (or any dry onion soup mix)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- Optional: ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes:
Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into bite-sized chunks. - Mix Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, olive oil (or melted butter), dry onion soup mix, and garlic powder if using. Toss until the potatoes are well coated. - Load the Slow Cooker:
Transfer the coated potatoes into the slow cooker and spread them out evenly. - Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 2.5–3 hours, until the potatoes are tender and flavorful. - Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot as a side dish.
