Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Reduce heat to low, then stir in cream cheese until well combined and melted through.
  4. Add garlic powder, black pepper, and green onions if using. Mix well, then remove from heat.
  5. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  6. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle and roll up, starting from the wide end toward the point.
  7. Place crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
