Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) package crescent roll dough
- 1/2 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Reduce heat to low, then stir in cream cheese until well combined and melted through.
- Add garlic powder, black pepper, and green onions if using. Mix well, then remove from heat.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle and roll up, starting from the wide end toward the point.
- Place crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
