Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 (8 oz) package egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the beef – In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until the meat is browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess grease.
- Season the meat – Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Prepare the sauce – In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk until smooth.
- Combine ingredients – Add the cooked noodles to the beef mixture, then pour the creamy sauce over and mix until well combined.
- Assemble – Pour everything into the prepared baking dish, sprinkle cheese on top, and add breadcrumbs if using.
- Bake – Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
