OVEN FRIED POTATOES & ONION

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes (peeled and sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the sliced potatoes and onions with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the potato and onion mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet. For crispier results, make sure they aren’t crowded on the pan.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time.
  5. Remove from the oven and optionally sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
