Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring the milk or water to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Stir in the oats, mashed banana, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and creamy.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and honey/maple syrup if desired.
- Transfer to a bowl and top with extra banana slices, nuts, or any toppings of your choice.
