Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana (organic if possible, with peel on)
- 2 cups water
- A dash of cinnamon (optional)
- 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the banana thoroughly, especially if it’s not organic.
- Cut off both ends of the banana, but leave the peel on.
- Bring the 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot.
- Place the whole banana (with peel) into the boiling water.
- Let it boil for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the liquid into a mug.
- Add a dash of cinnamon and honey if you like.
- Drink this banana tea about 30–60 minutes before bedtime.
