Natural Diuretic Recipe

Dandelion root tea is a popular natural remedy for promoting fluid balance and reducing bloating. Dandelion root has been used for centuries as a diuretic, helping the body eliminate excess water. This simple recipe allows you to harness the power of dandelion root for a soothing and effective tea.  

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon dried dandelion root
  • 1 cup (240 ml) filtered water
  • Honey or lemon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil the water: Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.  
  2. Add dandelion root: Place the dried dandelion root in a mug or teacup.
  3. Steep the tea: Pour the boiling water over the dandelion root.  
  4. Cover and steep: Cover the mug and let the tea steep for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Strain and enjoy: Strain the tea to remove the dandelion root and pour into a cup.  
  6. Sweeten and flavor (optional): Add honey or lemon to taste, if desired.
