Ingredients
- 10 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil (or coconut oil)
- 2 teaspoons turmeric powder (optional, for added anti-inflammatory benefit)
- A small glass jar with a lid
Instructions
- Crush the garlic cloves using a mortar and pestle or the flat side of a knife.
- Place the crushed garlic in the glass jar.
- Pour in the olive oil until the garlic is fully submerged.
- Add turmeric if using, and stir to combine.
- Seal the jar and let it sit in a cool, dark place for 5–7 days to allow the oil to infuse.
- After the infusion period, strain the oil using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
- Store the strained oil in a clean jar or bottle in the refrigerator.
- To use: Gently massage the oil into the affected areas (legs, knees, joints) 1–2 times per day.
Note: If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Always patch-test on a small area of skin first.
