Leg Pain & Arthritis Relief Rub (Traditional Remedy)

Ingredients

  • 10 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil (or coconut oil)
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric powder (optional, for added anti-inflammatory benefit)
  • A small glass jar with a lid

Instructions

  1. Crush the garlic cloves using a mortar and pestle or the flat side of a knife.
  2. Place the crushed garlic in the glass jar.
  3. Pour in the olive oil until the garlic is fully submerged.
  4. Add turmeric if using, and stir to combine.
  5. Seal the jar and let it sit in a cool, dark place for 5–7 days to allow the oil to infuse.
  6. After the infusion period, strain the oil using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
  7. Store the strained oil in a clean jar or bottle in the refrigerator.
  8. To use: Gently massage the oil into the affected areas (legs, knees, joints) 1–2 times per day.

Note: If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Always patch-test on a small area of skin first.
