- 2 cups milk (whole or low-fat)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2–3 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 cup fresh fruit (strawberries, mango, kiwi, or mixed berries), chopped
- Extra fruit for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, whisk together the milk and cornstarch until smooth.
- Place over medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency (about 3–5 minutes).
- Remove from heat, add honey or sugar, and vanilla extract if using. Stir well to dissolve.
- Pour the milk mixture into serving bowls or cups.
- Gently fold in the chopped fruit or layer it on top.
- Let it cool slightly, then refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to set (optional but recommended).
