Krispy Kreme Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 dozen Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnuts
  • 4 cups fresh or canned peaches, drained and sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Tear the Krispy Kreme doughnuts into large pieces and arrange them in the bottom of a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Stir to coat the peaches evenly.
  4. Pour the peach mixture over the torn doughnuts in the baking dish.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the peach mixture.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Pour it evenly over the entire dish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
