Ingredients
- 1 dozen Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnuts
- 4 cups fresh or canned peaches, drained and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Tear the Krispy Kreme doughnuts into large pieces and arrange them in the bottom of a greased 9×13 baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Stir to coat the peaches evenly.
- Pour the peach mixture over the torn doughnuts in the baking dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the peach mixture.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Pour it evenly over the entire dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
- Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat!
