Honey Lemon Pepper Wings

Ingredients

  • 10 chicken wings (drumettes or flats)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (freshly cracked)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Place them in a bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Arrange the wings: Lay the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, spreading them out in a single layer.
  4. Bake the wings: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
  5. Prepare the sauce: While the wings are baking, mix together honey, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and cracked black pepper in a small bowl.
  6. Coat the wings: Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and drizzle the honey lemon pepper sauce over them, tossing them to coat evenly.
  7. Garnish and serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired, and serve hot!
