- 2 large eggs
- 1 chopstick (or thin dowel)
- 1 rubber band
- 1 piece of thick paper or a small milk carton (cut open and cleaned)
Instructions
- Boil the Eggs – Place eggs in a pot of cold water. Bring to a boil, then let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cool Quickly – Transfer the boiled eggs into an ice bath for 5 minutes.
- Prepare the Mold – Fold the thick paper or milk carton into a V-shape. Place a peeled boiled egg in the fold.
- Shape the Egg – Lay a chopstick across the top of the egg and secure both ends with a rubber band to gently press into the egg.
- Chill and Set – Let the egg sit for 10-15 minutes in the fridge to hold its heart shape.
- Slice and Enjoy – Once set, remove the chopstick and cut the egg in half to reveal a heart shape.
