Ingredients:
- 1 kg pork ribs, cut into 2-inch pieces 1
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb-sized ginger, minced

- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 2-3 star anise
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ribs:
- Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, water, vinegar, brown sugar, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Sauté the Aromatics:
- Heat the cooking oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
