Ingredients
- 3–5 organic lemons (washed thoroughly)
- 1 airtight freezer-safe container or zip-top bag
Instructions
- Wash & Dry: Rinse the lemons thoroughly under cool water. Scrub the skins well to remove any dirt or wax. Pat dry completely.
- Freeze Whole: Place the whole lemons into a freezer-safe container or zip-lock bag. Seal tightly and freeze overnight or until solid.
- Grate & Use: When ready to use, take out a frozen lemon and grate it (peel, pulp, seeds, and all) using a fine grater or zester.
- Sprinkle It: Add the grated lemon to smoothies, tea, salads, yogurt, oatmeal, soups, baked goods, or even on top of fish and chicken for a zesty health boost.
- Store Leftovers: Store any unused grated lemon in a small sealed container in the freezer for later use.
