Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 apple (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 1 cup cold water or coconut water
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ½ inch piece of fresh ginger (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the carrots. Slice into small pieces.
- Peel the bananas and chop them into chunks.
- If using, core and chop the apple.
- Add the banana, carrot, and optional apple to a blender.
- Pour in the water or coconut water.
- Squeeze in the lemon juice and add ginger if using.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Strain the juice through a fine sieve or cheesecloth for a smoother texture, or enjoy as is for all the fiber.
- Serve chilled over ice, or enjoy it immediately for maximum freshness.
