Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the self-rising flour and cold heavy cream. Stir gently with a spoon or spatula until a sticky dough forms. Avoid overmixing.
- Shape the biscuits: Lightly flour your hands and a work surface. Turn the dough onto the surface and gently pat it into a rectangle about 1-inch thick. Fold the dough over itself 2-3 times and pat it down again. This folding creates fluffy layers.
- Cut the biscuits: Use a biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass to cut out biscuits. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, close but not touching.
- Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Serve: Enjoy warm with butter, honey, jam, or your favorite spread!
