Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (50g) sugar
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 2 tbsp (30ml) vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp (15ml) beaten egg (or 1/2 a small egg)
- 1 tbsp (15g) yogurt or sour cream (optional, for extra moisture)
Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake mold with liners.
- Mix Dry Ingredients – In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine Wet Ingredients – In another bowl, mix milk, oil (or melted butter), vanilla extract, and beaten egg.
- Blend Together – Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Fill & Bake – Pour the batter into cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool & Enjoy – Let cupcakes cool slightly before enjoying their melt-in-your-mouth goodness!
