    • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
    • 3 cups powdered sugar
    • 2-4 tablespoons milk
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Muffin Tin: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  6. Fill Cupcake Liners: Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake: Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  9. Prepare the Frosting (Optional):
    • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
    • Gradually add the milk and vanilla extract, beating until light and fluffy.
    • Adjust the consistency by adding more milk or powdered sugar as needed.
  10. Frost the Cupcakes: Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, frost them with the vanilla buttercream frosting (or your favorite frosting).
  11. Serve: Enjoy your delicious Vanilla Cupcakes!

  • Filling: Fill the cupcakes with jam, curd, or ganache before frosting them.
