Ingredients
- 5 dried bay leaves
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (pure, no added chemicals)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or olive oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for tightening effect)
Instructions
- Boil Bay Leaves:
In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add the bay leaves and simmer for about 10 minutes. - Cool and Strain:
Remove from heat, let it cool, and strain out the leaves. You’ll be left with a bay leaf infusion. - Mix the Ingredients:
In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of the bay leaf infusion with aloe vera gel and coconut oil. If using cornstarch, mix it in to create a light paste. - Apply to Skin:
Clean your face thoroughly. Apply the mixture to your face, focusing on wrinkle-prone areas (forehead, around eyes, mouth). - Leave On:
Leave it on for 15–20 minutes. You may feel a tightening sensation if you used cornstarch. - Rinse Off:
Rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat dry. Follow with your favorite moisturizer. - Use Regularly:
For best results, use this mask 2–3 times per week.
