- 3 medium potatoes (boiled & mashed)
- 1 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander (optional)
- 1 tsp chili flakes or black pepper
- ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ½ cup bread crumbs (for coating)
- 2 tbsp cornflour (or all-purpose flour)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, grated cheese, coriander, chili flakes, salt, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth.
- Shape the mixture into small balls.
- In a separate bowl, mix cornflour with a little water to make a thin paste.
- Dip each ball into the cornflour paste, then roll in bread crumbs to coat evenly.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the balls in batches until golden and crispy (about 2–3 minutes).
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dip.
