Ingredients
- 1 head of garlic (about 10–12 cloves)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Separate the garlic cloves from the head.
- Peel each clove. To make peeling easier, gently smash each clove with the flat side of a knife.
- Use the garlic cloves as desired — minced, sliced, or whole.
- If roasting: preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the peeled cloves with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Wrap them in foil and roast for about 20–25 minutes until soft and golden.
- Store unused peeled cloves in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
If you’d like, I can adjust this — do you want a recipe idea for what to make with the garlic cloves, or do you want to keep it as a simple prep guide?
