Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon fresh yeast (or 1 packet of active dry yeast)
- 1 tablespoon plain yogurt (for lactic acid and hydration)
- 1 teaspoon honey (for moisture and antibacterial properties)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional, for extra nourishment)
- A few drops of warm water (to activate the yeast, if needed)
Instructions
- Activate the yeast (if using dry yeast):
Mix the yeast with a few drops of warm water (not hot) and let it sit for 5–10 minutes until it becomes foamy. - Mix the mask:
In a small bowl, combine the activated yeast with yogurt, honey, and olive oil. Stir well until it forms a smooth paste. - Apply to your face:
Using clean fingers or a brush, apply the mixture evenly over your face, avoiding the eyes and lips. - Let it sit:
Allow the mask to sit for 15–20 minutes. You may feel a tightening sensation as it dries. - Rinse off:
Gently wash off the mask with lukewarm water, then splash your face with cool water to close the pores. - Moisturize:
Pat dry and follow with your favorite moisturizer.
Tips:
- Use this mask 1–2 times per week for best results.
- Always do a patch test on a small area of skin before applying to your face to rule out allergies.
