Bixby, Samsung’s virtual helper, has usually been behind competitors like Google Helper and Siri from Apple, but it has been coming up as of late. Now, the Korean phone company has released a new version of the helper that is supposed to make it even better.
The latest fix (version 3.3.15.18) is just under 63MB in size, which isn’t too big. This update makes Bixby better in a number of ways. With this update, Bixby can now suggest useful settings for a wider range of requests, making it easier for users to get more done in less time.

In addition to making the phone faster, Samsung has made special changes to the child accounts feature, which came out earlier this year. In version 3.3.15.18 of Bixby, users with child accounts can now choose to ask their parents for permission to use Bixby services.
Also, more rights for sharing with third parties have been added, giving you more protection and security. Even though the feature for kid accounts is only available in the US and South Korea right now, Samsung has said that it plans to slowly add support for more countries in the future.
The update also adds a useful feature that lets you wake up with your voice even when “Wake up when sound is playing” is turned off. This means that users can now use voice wake-up while a timer, music, or Bixby TTS (Text-to-Speech) is playing.
