Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional for extra creaminess)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan, mozzarella (if using), Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened (3–5 minutes).
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over top, and simmer for 2–3 more minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
