Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan, mozzarella (if using), Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened (3–5 minutes).
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over top, and simmer for 2–3 more minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
