Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Vaseline (petroleum jelly)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Optional: 1-2 drops of vitamin E oil or rosehip oil (for added skin benefits)
Instructions
- Melt Vaseline:
In a small microwave-safe bowl, warm the Vaseline for about 10–15 seconds to soften it (do not overheat). - Mix with Cornstarch:
Add the cornstarch to the softened Vaseline. Mix thoroughly until it forms a smooth, creamy paste. - Add Optional Oils:
If using, add a couple of drops of vitamin E or rosehip oil and mix well. - Apply to Skin:
Gently massage a small amount onto clean, dry skin—especially on the face, neck, or hands. - Leave Overnight or Use as a Mask:
- For deep hydration, leave it on overnight and wash off in the morning.
- For a quick glow, leave it on for 20–30 minutes and then wipe off with a warm damp cloth.
Benefits:
- Vaseline locks in moisture and softens fine lines.
- Cornstarch mattifies the skin and reduces shine.
- Together, they form a DIY skin-smoothing balm that helps restore a youthful glow.
