Ingredients
- 30 fresh or dried bay leaves
- 1 cup (250 ml) extra virgin olive oil (or sweet almond oil)
- Optional: a few drops of lavender or rosemary essential oil for added benefits and scent
Instructions
- Crush the bay leaves slightly to help release their natural oils.
- Place the leaves into a clean, dry glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
- Pour the olive oil over the leaves until fully submerged.
- Seal the jar and store it in a warm, dark place (like a cupboard) for 2 weeks, shaking it gently every day.
- After 2 weeks, strain the oil through a fine mesh or cheesecloth into a clean container.
- Optionally, add a few drops of essential oil and stir well.
- Store your bay leaf oil in a dark glass bottle and keep it in a cool, dark place.
How to Use:
Massage a small amount onto the affected areas in circular motions once or twice a day. Regular use may help improve circulation and reduce the appearance of varicose veins naturally.
