Ingredients
- 5-6 bay leaves
- 1 cup of olive oil (or coconut oil)
Instructions
- Prepare the Bay Leaves: Crush the bay leaves gently using a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon to release their natural oils.
- Infuse the Oil: In a glass jar, combine the crushed bay leaves with the olive oil (or coconut oil). Seal the jar tightly.
- Let it Sit: Place the jar in a warm, dark place for about 10-15 days, shaking it occasionally to mix the leaves with the oil.
- Strain and Store: After the infusion period, strain the oil to remove the bay leaves, leaving you with the infused oil.
- Application: Gently massage the oil onto the affected areas of the legs, especially on the varicose veins, using circular motions. Do this before bed to allow the oil to work overnight.
- Repeat Daily: For best results, apply this oil daily for at least 2-3 weeks.
Bay leaf has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that are believed to improve circulation, reduce swelling, and promote vein health, making this oil a natural remedy for varicose veins.
