Ultimate Double Cheeseburger Pizza Stack

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large pizza crusts (pre-baked or store-bought)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional, for drizzle)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickles (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • Lettuce leaves (optional, for topping after baking)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
  • Oil or butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the Beef
    • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
    • Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
    • Drain excess fat and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce
    • In a bowl, mix ketchup and mustard.
    • Spread a thin layer over the first pizza crust.
  4. Layer the First Crust
    • Spread half of the cooked beef over the sauce.
    • Sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
    • Add sliced pickles and onions.
  5. Add the Second Crust
    • Place the second pizza crust on top like a sandwich.
    • Spread more sauce on top.
    • Top with the remaining beef, cheese, and more pickles/onions if desired.
  6. Bake
    • Bake in the oven for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the top is golden.
  7. Optional Garnish
    • Brush edges with butter or oil and sprinkle sesame seeds for a “burger bun” effect.
  8. Top & Serve
    • After baking, add fresh lettuce and diced tomatoes if using.
    • Drizzle with a little mayonnaise for the full cheeseburger flavor.
    • Slice like a pizza and serve hot!
