INGREDIENTS
- 2 large pizza crusts (pre-baked or store-bought)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional, for drizzle)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pickles (sliced)
- 1/2 cup red onion (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- Lettuce leaves (optional, for topping after baking)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
- Oil or butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the Beef
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Drain excess fat and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce
- In a bowl, mix ketchup and mustard.
- Spread a thin layer over the first pizza crust.
- Layer the First Crust
- Spread half of the cooked beef over the sauce.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Add sliced pickles and onions.
- Add the Second Crust
- Place the second pizza crust on top like a sandwich.
- Spread more sauce on top.
- Top with the remaining beef, cheese, and more pickles/onions if desired.
- Bake
- Bake in the oven for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the top is golden.
- Optional Garnish
- Brush edges with butter or oil and sprinkle sesame seeds for a “burger bun” effect.
- Top & Serve
- After baking, add fresh lettuce and diced tomatoes if using.
- Drizzle with a little mayonnaise for the full cheeseburger flavor.
- Slice like a pizza and serve hot!
