Ingredients
- 2 large pizza crusts (store-bought or homemade, pre-baked)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/2 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp pickle juice (optional, for sauce)
- Shredded lettuce, for topping (optional)
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease. - Prepare Sauce Base
In a small bowl, mix ketchup and mustard. Spread this sauce over the top of both pizza crusts. - Build the First Layer
Place one crust on a baking tray. Top with half of the cooked beef mixture and half of the cheddar cheese. - Stack It!
Add the second pizza crust on top of the first (like a sandwich). Then spread the remaining beef over it, top with mozzarella and the rest of the cheddar. - Bake
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the stacked pizza for 8–10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. - Top and Serve
Remove from oven and drizzle with mayo mixed with a splash of pickle juice (optional). Top with diced pickles, cherry tomatoes, and shredded lettuce. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for that true burger vibe!
Serving Tip:
Cut into wedges like a deep-dish pizza. Serve warm with extra ketchup or burger sauce on the side.
