Ultimate Double Cheeseburger Pizza Stack

Ingredients

  • 2 large pizza crusts (store-bought or homemade, pre-baked)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/2 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice (optional, for sauce)
  • Shredded lettuce, for topping (optional)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Prepare Sauce Base
In a small bowl, mix ketchup and mustard. Spread this sauce over the top of both pizza crusts.
  3. Build the First Layer
Place one crust on a baking tray. Top with half of the cooked beef mixture and half of the cheddar cheese.
  4. Stack It!
Add the second pizza crust on top of the first (like a sandwich). Then spread the remaining beef over it, top with mozzarella and the rest of the cheddar.
  5. Bake
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the stacked pizza for 8–10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Top and Serve
Remove from oven and drizzle with mayo mixed with a splash of pickle juice (optional). Top with diced pickles, cherry tomatoes, and shredded lettuce. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for that true burger vibe!

Serving Tip:

Cut into wedges like a deep-dish pizza. Serve warm with extra ketchup or burger sauce on the side.
