Ingredients
- 2 large pre-baked pizza crusts (or use store-bought pizza dough)
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- ¼ cup dill pickle slices
- ¼ cup cooked bacon bits (optional)
- ½ cup shredded lettuce (optional, for topping)
- 1 medium tomato, diced (optional, for topping)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing the crust)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If using fresh dough, bake the pizza crusts according to package or recipe instructions. - Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat. - Prepare Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix the ketchup and mustard together. - Assemble the First Layer:
Place one baked pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread half of the ketchup-mustard sauce over it. Top with half of the cooked beef mixture, half of the cheddar, half of the mozzarella, and a few pickle slices. - Stack the Second Layer:
Place the second pizza crust on top. Repeat with the remaining sauce, beef, cheddar, mozzarella, and more pickles. Sprinkle bacon bits if using. - Bake:
Lightly brush the outer edges of the crust with olive oil for a golden finish. Bake the stacked pizza for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly. - Finish & Serve:
Remove from the oven. If desired, top with shredded lettuce and diced tomato for the full cheeseburger experience. Slice into wedges and enjoy!
Tip:
Customize with your favorite burger toppings—like sautéed mushrooms, jalapeños, or extra sauces!
