- 1 cup raw organic honey
- 1 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/2 cup fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
- 2 tablespoons turmeric powder (or 2 inches fresh turmeric root, grated)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon ground black pepper (helps absorb turmeric)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the honey and lemon juice. Stir well until smooth.
- Add the grated ginger and turmeric (or turmeric powder). Mix thoroughly.
- Slowly add the apple cider vinegar while stirring. If using black pepper, add it now.
- Transfer the mixture to a clean glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Each morning, take 2 tablespoons of this mixture on an empty stomach. You can take it straight or mix it into a glass of lukewarm water.
- Shake or stir the jar well before each use to keep the ingredients combined.
