Turkey Wings recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 turkey wings, split at the joints
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Clean and pat dry the turkey wings with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, thyme, and poultry seasoning.
  4. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the turkey wings until fully coated.
  5. Place sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange seasoned wings on top.
  6. Pour chicken broth around the wings (not over them to keep the seasoning intact).
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  8. After 1 hour, remove the foil and bake uncovered for 30–45 minutes, or until wings are golden brown and tender.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or your favorite side dish.
