Ingredients
- 2 (5 oz) cans of tuna in water, drained
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional for tang)
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon chopped dill pickle or sweet relish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley or chives
- Optional: squeeze of lemon juice for brightness
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, add the drained tuna. Use a fork to flake it into smaller pieces.
- Stir in mayonnaise and mustard (if using) until well combined.
- Mix in chopped red onion, celery, and pickle or relish.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add optional lemon juice and herbs for added flavor.
- Chill for at least 15–30 minutes to let the flavors meld (optional but recommended).
- Serve over lettuce, in a sandwich, or with crackers.
