INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 3 tablespoons water (preferably distilled or rose water)
- 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel (fresh or store-bought, pure)
- A few drops of lemon juice (optional – for brightening)
- A few drops of tea tree oil (optional – for acne-prone skin)
🧴 INSTRUCTIONS
- Soak the chia seeds:
In a small bowl, combine the chia seeds with water. Let them sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until they form a gel-like consistency. - Blend for smoothness (optional):
If you prefer a smoother texture, blend the soaked chia mixture lightly using a blender or food processor. - Add nourishing ingredients:
Mix in aloe vera gel, and if using, add a few drops of lemon juice and/or tea tree oil. Stir well until everything is well combined. - Apply the mask:
Using clean fingers or a brush, apply the chia seed gel evenly to your face, avoiding the eye area. - Let it work its magic:
Leave the mask on for 15–20 minutes, allowing it to tighten and hydrate your skin. - Rinse off:
Gently rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean towel.
💡 Tips:
- Use 2–3 times a week for best results.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Always do a patch test if trying for the first time.
