Ingredients
- 2–3 fresh garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for easier application)
- Bandage or gauze
- Mild soap and warm water (for cleaning)
Instructions
Clean the affected area: Wash your feet or hands with mild soap and warm water. Pat dry thoroughly.
- Crush the garlic: Peel and crush 2–3 cloves of garlic to release the active compound allicin, which has powerful antifungal properties.
- Apply directly: Place the crushed garlic directly on the affected nail. You can mix it with a little olive oil to reduce irritation.
- Cover it up: Secure the garlic with a bandage or gauze to keep it in place.
- Let it sit: Leave it on for 30–45 minutes. Do not exceed 1 hour, as garlic can burn sensitive skin.
- Rinse and dry: Remove the bandage and rinse the area with warm water. Dry thoroughly.
- Repeat daily: Apply this treatment once per day for 2–4 weeks or until the fungus clears.
Note:
If you experience burning, redness, or irritation, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider. Always do a patch test first if you have sensitive skin.
