Ingredients
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or a spoonful of peanut butter
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug or small bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add in milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- If using, fold in chocolate chips, nuts, or peanut butter.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds, or until the cake has risen and is set.
- Let it cool slightly, then top with whipped cream, ice cream, or enjoy as-is!
