Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes (russet or Yukon gold)
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes if you prefer. Slice them evenly into ¼-inch thick rounds.
- Place the potato slices in a bowl of cold water for 15–30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat them completely dry with a clean towel.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, toss the dry potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Don’t overcrowd; cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove and sprinkle with extra salt or herbs if desired. Serve immediately!
