These Crispy Air Fryer Potato Slices Are So Easy and So Good

Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes (russet or Yukon gold)
  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes if you prefer. Slice them evenly into ¼-inch thick rounds.
  2. Place the potato slices in a bowl of cold water for 15–30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat them completely dry with a clean towel.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. In a bowl, toss the dry potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Don’t overcrowd; cook in batches if needed.
  6. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Remove and sprinkle with extra salt or herbs if desired. Serve immediately!
