Ingredients
- 1 small clove of garlic (peeled)
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt (fine or sea salt)
- A few drops of water (optional, for consistency)
Instructions
- Crush the garlic clove using a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon to make a smooth paste.
- Mix in the salt and mash well until it becomes a uniform paste.
- (Optional) Add a few drops of water if the mixture is too thick.
- Apply the paste gently to your teeth using a clean toothbrush or your fingertip.
- Leave it on for about 2 minutes only – do not exceed this time.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Brush your teeth with regular toothpaste afterward to remove any remaining odor or residue.
⚠️ Caution:
- Do not use this remedy more than once or twice a week, as garlic and salt can be abrasive and irritate gums if overused.
- Always consult your dentist before trying home remedies for oral care.
