Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon dried Penas root (ground or chopped)
- 2 cups filtered water
- 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 2 cups of filtered water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Add the dried Penas root to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for 15–20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture steep for another 10 minutes.
- Strain into a mug.
- Optional: Stir in honey and lemon juice for flavor and added benefits.
- Drink warm, once daily.
