- 1 tsp dried ginger or 1-inch fresh ginger root (sliced)
- 1 tsp green tea leaves or 1 green tea bag
- 1 tsp dried chamomile or moringa leaves (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder or 1 cinnamon stick
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 tsp raw honey (optional)
- 2 cups filtered water
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a saucepan, bring the water to a gentle boil.
- Add turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and any optional herbs (like chamomile or moringa).
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and add the green tea. Let steep for 3–5 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a cup.
- Stir in lemon juice and honey (if using).
- Enjoy warm, ideally 1–2 times a day.
