Ingredients
- Carrier Oil Base (total 30 mL):
- 20 mL fractionated coconut oil (light, easily absorbed)
- 10 mL sweet almond oil (nourishing, skin-soothing)
- Essential Oils:
- 8 drops Lavender (anxiety relief, calming)
- 6 drops Ginger (supports healthy circulation & uric acid metabolism)
- 6 drops Lemon (mild detoxifying, uplifting)
- 5 drops Peppermint (cooling comfort for joints)
- 4 drops Wintergreen (natural analgesic for rheumatic discomfort)
- 5 drops Clary Sage (helps ease cravings & balance mood)
Instructions
- Sanitize & Prep:
Sterilize a small (30 mL) amber glass bottle with a dropper or rollerball. Allow to air-dry. - Combine Carrier Oils:
Pour the fractionated coconut oil and sweet almond oil into the bottle, leaving about 1 cm of headspace. - Add Essential Oils:
Add each essential oil one by one, counting drops directly into the carrier oil mixture. - Mix & Label:
Cap the bottle and gently roll it between your palms for 20–30 seconds to blend.
Label with the date and contents. - Usage – Topical Massage:
- For joint/rheumatism support: Massage 5–10 drops into affected areas (knees, elbows, wrists) twice daily.
- For uric acid support: Gently rub over calves and ankles in the morning and evening.
- Usage – Aromatic Support:
- Anxiety & cravings: Place 1–2 drops on a tissue or in a personal inhaler and inhale deeply for 1–2 minutes whenever anxious or experiencing cravings.
- Alternatively, add 3–4 drops to a diffuser in your workspace or bedroom.
- Patch Test:
Before first use, apply a small dab to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours to check for sensitivity. - Storage:
Keep in a cool, dark place (below 25 °C). Use within 3–4 months for optimal potency.
Tips & Notes:
- Adjust drops of Wintergreen if you’re sensitive to strong “minty” oil—start with 2 drops.
- Consistency is key: daily topical and aromatic use over several weeks may yield best results.
- Always shake gently before each use to re-blend any settled oils.
