Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup sour cream or plain yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. Cream Butter & Sugar – In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients – Mix in the eggs, one at a time. Stir in the orange juice, zest, vanilla, and sour cream.
