Ingredients

- 1/4 small onion 🧅, sliced
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 4–5 fresh guava leaves (or 1 tsp dried guava leaves, optional)
- 2–3 cups water
- Honey or lemon (optional, for taste)
Instructions
- In a small pot, add the water, garlic, ginger, turmeric, onion, and cinnamon stick.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for about 10–15 minutes to let all the flavors infuse.
- Add the guava leaves during the last 5 minutes of simmering.
- Strain the tea into a cup.
- Sweeten with honey or add a squeeze of lemon if desired.
