- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F/43°C)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp salt
- For the Honey Butter:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Instruction
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the yeast mixture and gradually mix in the flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead and Rise:
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

- Shape the Rolls:
- Punch down the dough and roll it out to about ½-inch thickness.
- Cut into rectangles or squares (about 2×3 inches). Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart. Cover and let rise for another 30–40 minutes.
