Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) chicken wings
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro leaves and lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare the Marinade:
In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, cumin, coriander, paprika, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and oil. Mix until smooth. - Marinate the Wings:
Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to let the flavors seep in. - Preheat and Cook:
- For Baking: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the marinated wings on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
- For Grilling: Heat your grill to medium-high. Place the wings on the grill and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and slightly crispy.
- Serve:
Garnish the wings with fresh cilantro and serve with lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy them hot with mint chutney or your favorite dipping sauce!
